Happy Wanderlust Wednesday! I’m writing this as we are on our way back from the most beautiful place on earth! We just spent a very peaceful and relaxing week at the Viceroy Sugar Beach in St. Lucia. I’m sharing this round up of What I Wore in St. Lucia to inspire your end of summer getaway and style.
We have had quite the adventure with canceled flights etc. which is why I’m writing on the plane this am! But we had one of the best family trips ever this past week. I took so many photos and loved Sugar Beach that I will write a full post about it as well soon.
This post will be a little bit different than some of my other What I Wore posts as I’m going to group them into day and night looks. The sunsets quite early in St. Lucia and we love to watch the sunset from the beach so it was difficult to take photos in the dark before dinner each night! I took some of these in the mornings before we headed out. That it’s a bit of a blogger trick, I suppose, but much faster and easier than using the handheld fill light that I took to South Africa. (By the way this is the light that I took it is fantastic! I learned this tip from my friend Tavia Hunt. It’s small and makes photos look professional in a dark setting. Fun and easy to take along on your next girls night or trip!)
Now onto the fashion!
BEACH AND DAYTIME
Pink one shoulder swimsuit (also here and on sale) I love it so much I have it in Navy, too! / Barbara Cobb Hats wide brim sun hat / Cabana Life pink boy short bikini & rash guard set (get 20% off all Cabana Life with code Wood20)
This is a new to me brand that reached out on Instagram a few weeks before we left. I had not worn of their swimsuits before but absolutely love them! They have great coverage where you want it and are so comfortable. You can find lots of styles here and here.
This dress is their luxurious, silky fabric and great for a cover-up as well! All of their dresses are perfect for tropical vacations and Summer in the south!
As I said on Instagram when I shared this photo before the beach barbecue I have taken this dress on every warm weather vacation for the past three years. It is well priced and such high-quality! I also have it in navy that you have seen here.
Blue and white striped maxi dress / See by Chloe wedges I’ve waited all summer to wear this dress here! It’s currently on sale for $76! Luxurious striped cotton and fully lined. A dress you’ll have for a long time.
Lilly Pulitzer two-piece set c/o. Two-piece sets are a big trend and I wasn’t wild about it for me until I tried this style on. I wasted skirt makes all the difference. I also love the skirt paired with a simple white T-shirt.
I hope you enjoyed this quick round up of What I Wore in Saint Lucia. I have saved all the highlights of our trip on my Instagram stories under St. Lucia so that you can see this beautiful property. I will share more about the resort and activities as well as the gorgeous photos soon.
A quick note that this was not a sponsored trip but our annual summer family vacation like our trip to Italy last summer. We booked this trip through Inspirato and I cannot think of them enough for all they did to make everything run smoothly with the changes that we had to make to our travel schedule. You can learn more about Inspirato here. We have been members for almost 5 years and highly recommend them as a great way to travel!
