What to Wear to the Byron Nelson Green Out for Mental Health Awareness Month

by | Style | 0 comments

If you live in Dallas, you probably know that the CJ Cup Byron Nelson Golf Tournament is this week.  This PGA tournament is a long standing Dallas tradition run by The Salesmanship Club of Dallas benefitting the Momentous Institute.

I don’t often talk about the volunteering that my husband and I do other than sharing a little of Crystal Charity Ball and the Byron Nelson on my Instagram feed or stories each year.  This year, my husband has the great honor of serving as President of The Salesmanship Club of Dallas which supports the Momentous Institute and we are all about the “Nelson” right now!  I’ve shared more details on this wonderful organization and it’s PGA Tournament below.

GREEN RIBBON PROJECT

One of my husband’s initiatives for the year is to bring Mental Health to the forefront of their work in partnership with PGA through Project Green Ribbon. You can expect to see more about this partnership with the PGA in the future!  Mental health is fast becoming a top health crisis in America today and The Club and Momentous Institute are leading the way to help youth and families in crisis across the country.  You can learn more about Momentous and their programs below and here.

To support this work and bring awareness to the importance of caring for and talking about mental health, I hope you’ll join us for the CJ Cup Byron Nelson GREEN OUT on Saturday May 4 to support of Mental Health Awareness Month which is May.  I hope you’ll join us for great PGA golf for a GREAT CAUSE!  You can purchase tickets here.

I’ve put together a little What to Wear to the CJ CUP Byron Nelson Green Out for Mental Health Awareness Month this Saturday, May 4. From shorts and a striped sweater to a sporty or printed dress, wear green your way!

You can recognize the Salesmanship Club members who serve as Tournament Marshalls by their red pants.  In fact, everyone, including the members themselves, affectionally calls them “The Red Pants!”  So if you have any questions about the tournament while you’re there, ask a Red Pant!
