I can’t believe 4th of July is almost here! It seems like we were just getting ready for Memorial Day. It’s become one of my favorite holidays to decorate and entertain for. I’ve loved sharing my 4th of July tablescape and recipes with you as seen here & here. Whether you are celebrating in your own backyard or getting together with family and friends, I’ve pulled together a boutique of what to wear for 4th of July and the rest of the summer!
I had the opportunity to stop in to try on some new arrivals at a local Dallas boutique, Avara. They have so many great pieces for summer and the 4th! I’ve included them below. You’ll love this cute shop and their high-quality, well priced styles. I’ll also try on a lot of this on Instagram stories today for you also.
Gingham in red or blue is also a great pattern for the 4th of July style. This is the most adorable red gingham top! I love the ruffle sleeve shoulder and it has a flattering fit. It will look great with your favorite denim shorts and sandals. I typically shy away from a large print but LOVE this. It also comes in blue. I’m wearing an XS.
This gingham dress is a great option for a dressier July 4th or almost any summer event. Quintessential summer!
This was the first piece that caught my eye! I actually wore it to dinner last night. The detail is amazing! It looks much more expensive than it is. It would be equally as darling with white jeans and wedges. I’m wearing an XS.
Chambray Sundress c/o / Similar Sandals
I’ve also not been quick to jump on the smocked dress train this go around but….this dress changed that! I thought it would look too young and highlight all the things I like to disguise. This dress fits like a dream and I feel very confident in it. I’m wearing an XS.
If you plan on relaxing poolside or at the lake, this terry cover up or the French Terry from my Cabana Life Essentials Collection comes in navy, white & striped versions. I can’t say enough good things about it! It has 50+ UV protection and is the perfect option to dress up or down. I wear mine nonstop and have it in multiple colors. This is a summer staple for me!
Stripes are a classic way to look festive, especially when paired with accessories that have a pop of color. The striped top pictured above has been a reader favorite from my updated Cabana Life Essentials Collection. Both the tunics and top are great classic options.
For more in striped style I am also loving this blue and white pop over top, as well as this adorable striped maxi dress that comes in a blue and white version as well! This top runs a bit smaller and I’m wearing a Small.
I can’t get over this blue beauty! You know I gravitate to dresses. I love that they are a one and done decision! The ruffle sleeve is uber flattering. The dress is lined but still light and cool. If it comes out in other colors it might just be my new summer uniform…other than denim shorts and a cute top!
This navy dress is the perfect throw and go dress for all summer long!
You know I love blue and white so this darling dress caught my eye! Headed to a dressier event or country club for the 4th? This beauty with heavy embroidered lace is a winner! It’s available in only a few sizes so if yours is available grab it! It’s currently 25% off!
All white is another great and easy option for what to wear July 4th. This guazy top and a cute pair or shorts or jeans is a chic look anytime for summer. Add these cute earrings and you have a pop of red for fireworks! I’m wearing an XS.
