I truly can’t believe that Memorial Day is less than two weeks away! With spending the summer at our Lake House on the horizon, what to wear for Memorial Day is certainly on my mind and my favorite recipes are not far behind!

Obviously, the patriotic colors of red, white and blue are in order for the long weekend. Taking some time to remember those who have gone before us and fight for the freedoms we have in the United States is very important. Whether you are donning the perfect navy dress with red detail , a red, white and blue gingham dress, red swimsuit, crisp white sundress or a the perfect white top and denim shorts, you can’t go wrong.

My love of blue and white can certainly be patriotic! Pair this blue with white trim dress with these great red, blue and gold earrings for an understated red, white and blue look.  This blue and white striped dress with a hint of red is a darling summer dress with a little patriotic flare!

I’ve had my eye on this white dress! Again, paired with these red sandals or white with red trim pouchette bag and you have another great look for Memorial Day or Fourth of July.  This chic red linen dress is one of my favorite styles and paired with these pearl floral earrings, you are ready to celebrate!

I’ll be adding a few of these great shirt dresses to my summer closet.  I love a simple throw and go dress any day and I’ll wear these often at the lake, especially.  I think this red and white striped is so cute!  I already own the navy striped of this one and have my eye on the navy and red stripe!
