A little more Summer Sangria love for you today with my White Peach Basil Sangria. I served this at my Sangria Soiree a few weeks ago and it was well loved! I have made it several more times since including last night at my sister-in-laws for another party. I used peaches we bought at a local farm stand. So good!
- 1 c sugar
- ½ c fresh orange juice, chilled
- ½ c fresh lemon juice, chilled
- ½ c fresh grapefruit juice, chilled
- 1 bottle Savignon Blanc, chilled
- 1 bottle champagne or prosecco, chilled
- 2 white peaches, chopped
- ¼ c fresh basil, sliced thinly
- **Note: Use fresh squeezed juices. It really tastes much better. Never that pre-made Real Lemon! I buy it at Whole Foods when I'm making a large quantity but it's really not that hard to squeeze this amount for a single batch.
- Place sugar, orange juice, lemon juice and grapefruit juice in a large pitcher.
- Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir.
- Pour over ice in a high boy or large wine glass.
- Enjoy!

I use wines and proseccos that I would serve on their own. It’s not worth making an bad tasting batch of Sangria. Peaches are so good here this time of the summer. I don’t peel my peaches because I like to color the peel adds to the drink and texture and tartness as well.
We have a small raised garden and the girls love to run out and collect herbs for whatever I’m making. They have done such a great job on the basil this year!
Hope you enjoy this and make some this weekend!
