As an active member of Cattle Baron’s Ball for eight years and having family members and friends who are cancer fighters and survivors, this event is close to my heart. If you aren’t lucky enough to purchase tickets for Cattle Baron’s Ball before it sells out (I hear there are just a few couple tickets left this am!), you can still feel like you are a part of tomorrow night’s headliner Kenny Chesney’s “Barefoot Nation.”
Grey Goose created a specialty drink just for tomorrow night called “The Good Stuff” and I’ve got the recipe for just you. With Grey Goose Le Melon vodka and apple cider, it’s light, crisp and perfect for the fall weather we are having.
- 1 oz Grey Goose Le Melon
- ½ oz St. Germain
- Equal parts of club soda and apple cider
- Lemon wedges
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour all ingredients over the ice.
- Squeeze two lemon wedges over the drink before dropping in.
- Give a quick stir and enjoy.

So kick off your shoes, crank up Kenny and pour yourself “The Good Stuff.” And while your at it, log on to the Cattle Baron’s Ball website and make a donation to cancer research.
**Note: The Dallas Cattle Baron’s Ball is the largest one night fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
